PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Maintains overall yard security by properly receiving/disbursing rental equipment and greeting and referring customers for assistance
ESSENTIAL DUTIES :
Education :
GED/ High School graduates preferred; must have ability to read and comprehend written information and understand verbal directions.
Work Experience:
Has physical ability to climb upon and operate equipment numerous times daily.
Other:
Must have beginner/intermediate PC exposure to enter basic information into mainly MS software.

initStaticMap(true); EQ - Corporate Intern\nPRIMARY FUNCTION:\nMaintains overall yard security by properly receiving/disbursing rental equipment and greeting and referring customers for assistance\nESSENTIAL DUTIES:\n\nGreets all incoming customers arriving in the equipment yard.\nInquiries about customer's interest and directs the customer to the appropriate sales or rental representative.\nControls incoming and outgoing equipment by greeting and directing drivers.\nRecords and processes all incoming and outgoing equipment serial number on appropriate forms.\nLoads and unloads equipment for repair/service, returns or pick-ups.\nMaintains yard in a neat and orderly fashion by properly arranging equipment for display by scraping yard and removing trash or scrap metals.\nMaintains on a PC daily gate logs of all machine transactions and disburses it to appropriate GPEC personnel.\nPerforms routine new equipment preparations such as cleaning, checking and filling fluid levels and performing minor adjustments.\nAccounts for used equipment attachments inventory at all branches by barcoding and updating inventory information into a PC database.\nTake digital photographs of used equipment on the yard and downloads onto the GPEC network drive.\nTransfers miscellaneous equipment items to other branches using the GPEC transportation system.\n\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:\nEducation:\nGED/ High School graduates preferred; must have ability to read and comprehend written information and understand verbal directions.\nWork Experience:\n\nDemonstrates and communicates genuine customer service skills.\nHas operated or can quickly learn to operate various construction and industrial equipment.\nAbility to read and comprehend shipping information and follow through on verbal communications.\n\nPhysical:\nHas physical ability to climb upon and operate equipment numerous times daily.\nOther:\nMust have beginner/intermediate PC exposure to enter basic information into mainly MS software.\nThis job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
