Interim HR Specialist - Part Time Intermittent (Education)



 

Position Summary

Employers Council is seeking an Interim HR Specialist to join our team. We partner with employers to grow exceptional, dynamic workplaces by offering a comprehensive set of services. In the role of Interim HR Specialist, you assist our members with HR related tasks for specific projects or during a transitional period.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and Hiring:
    • Managing the entire hiring process, including sourcing candidates, screening applications, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Addressing employee concerns, mediating disputes, and ensuring a positive work environment.
  • HR Policy Development and Implementation:
    • Contributing to the creation and execution of company policies and procedures.
  • Benefits Administration:
    • Managing employee benefits programs and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • HR Systems:
    • Maintaining HR databases and systems, including payroll, benefits, and applicant tracking systems.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Providing administrative support to the HR team, such as managing files, preparing reports, and handling correspondence.
    • Provides a variety of short-term and long-term Human Resources (HR) Specialist, Generalist, or Manager levels of support for internal projects, members, and non-members and serves as a point of contact for member and non-member organizations.
    • Coordinates with the client for on-site and virtual assistance per project scope.
    • Provides exceptional customer service to members and detailed, professional project outcomes.
    • Serves as subject matter expert for daily HR Tasks, providing support to members and organizations as needed. 
    • Travel to members' sites is required 75% of the time.
