Sr Financial Analyt Procurement (Finance)



What you will do:

The Senior Finance Analyst provides strategic financial support to the US Procurement team. This role plays a critical part in driving financial performance through advanced analysis, validation of cost savings initiatives, and proactive business partnership. The Senior Financial Analyst is expected to influence decision-making, lead complex financial projects, and serve as a key liaison between Procurement, Finance, and other cross-functional teams.

How you will do it:

Financial Results & Reporting

· Lead monthly close process for Procurement-related financials, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, specifically owning the Polypropylene P&L, SG&A, and other areas as determined in the future.

· Prepare and review financial reports and variance analysis, providing insights and recommendations.

· Validate and track savings initiatives, ensuring alignment with financial targets and corporate goals.

· Prepare transportation fleet scorecards and review supplier performance, financial variances, and billing accuracy.

· Support SOX compliance efforts and lead audits related to Procurement finance

· Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards

Planning, Forecasting & Strategic Analysis

· Support the annual planning and monthly outlook processes for Procurement-related spend and savings

· Drive monthly reviews of SG&A with regional procurement leadership

· Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario planning and strategic decision-making.

· Outlook Accounts Payable metrics twice monthly as required by Corporate Treasury, bridging variances and ensuring accuracy

· Support in identifying risks and opportunities across SG&A and Accounts Payable metrics

Business Partnership & Project Leadership

· Act as a strategic partner to members of the US Procurement and Finance teams by driving product savings initiatives not limited to vendor pricing, material changes, or supplier changes

· Drive payment term expansion improving trade working capital while minimizing EBITDA impact. Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve financial reporting processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency

· Lead the BBC pricing team on dotted line basis; support PCF request process & manage relationship

Continuous Improvement & Ad Hoc Analysis

· Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and analysis capabilities.

· Manage and deliver high-impact ad hoc financial analyses and special projects for executive stakeholders.

What we look for:

Required:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or CPA/CMA preferred.

· Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.

· Proven ability to lead projects and influence cross-functional teams.

· Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.

Preferred:

· Experience with financial systems such as OneStream, QAD, or SAP strongly preferred.
