Loss Prevention Officer - Washington DC - $20/hour (Security)

Metro One LPSG is a leading provider of dedicated security and loss prevention services to our clients. We are a rapidly growing organization, transforming the security industry and currently hiring Unarmed Loss Preventions Officers. We are looking for talented, committed and determine individuals. We have a state-of-the-art infrastructure and we're looking for a strong LPO Officer to work in a retail environment. We are a national security service provider licensed in 48 states. WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Provide excellent customer service
Stand post up to 8 hours per shift
Greet customers/employees
Watch CCTV camera system and notate accurately in a daily activity report or incident reports
Observe, survey, and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location
Provide rapid response in critical situations

TO SUCCEED AT METRO ONE:

Have excellent interpersonal communication skills in customer service
High level of awareness, attentiveness, and alertness
Ability to deescalate situations and remain calm in confrontation
Capable of standing for long periods of time and exhibiting physical strength
Astute observation and detailed notetaking/reporting

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Active DC Guard Card - REQUIRED
Security, Military, Corrections, or Law Enforcement experience is PREFFERED
CPR Certification - PREFFERED
Customer Service Experience
Have a solid/stable work history in the past 6 years
Willing to submit to Drug Testing and Background screening
Flexible availability to include weekends

Pay is $20/hour
