Stockroom Supervisor (Finance)

What You'll Be Doing:
The Working Supervisor is a hands-on role responsible for performing day-to-day stockroom activities while also overseeing the shipping and receiving operations. This role combines physical inventory management with leadership duties, ensuring materials are accurately received, stored, and distributed, and that shipments are timely and correct. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and capable of balancing operational tasks with supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Operational (Hands-On Duties):

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and shipments.
Pick, stage, and deliver inventory for production and orders.
Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts.
Interpret information maintained in MRP system.

Supervisory Duties:

Provide daily direction and oversight to stock room, shipping and receiving associates.
Schedule and assign tasks to team members to meet department goals.
Monitor productivity and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
Train new employees and cross-train staff as needed.
Communicate regularly with other departments to ensure material flow and delivery expectations are met.
Address performance issues in coordination with management.
