Key Responsibilities: As a Regional Operations Director, you'll lead with confidence, focusing on: - Directing teams to flawlessly execute operational requirements and implement process improvements. - Developing and managing operational plans that align with complex business objectives. - Leading strategic initiatives and managing assignments across functional areas with a regional and national scope. - Acting as the primary interface to coordinate cross-departmental activities and commitments. - Managing response strategies and ensuring effective communication plans are implemented. - Establishing goals, promoting decision-making, delegating responsibilities, and overcoming challenges. - Driving productivity optimization and Lean Six Sigma projects to deliver measurable results. - Achieving plant and product supply reliability goals while developing action plans to address performance deficiencies. - Ensuring adherence to Linde's strict safety policies and compliance with local, state, federal, and Linde environmental, permitting, and product quality standards. - Recruiting, training, coaching, and conducting performance reviews for team members to build a cohesive, high-performing management team. - Managing budgets, monitoring P&L performance, and influencing financial outcomes through strategic planning and execution. - Collaborating across levels of the organization to build alignment and ensure the achievement of shared goals. About You: We're looking for a driven leader with extensive operational experience and a proven track record of building high-performing teams. For this role, you'll bring: - A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience. - 10+ years of operational experience in manufacturing, distribution, or similar functions. - 5+ years in plant management, with demonstrated success leading complex operations. - Proven leadership, team-building, and decision-making skills paired with the ability to motivate and inspire diverse teams. - Strong understanding of P&L management and the ability to influence financial results within budgetary constraints. - Focus on operational reliability and efficiency, paired with exceptional planning and execution skills. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to act as a trusted leader across all levels of the organization.
