Seasonal Hire - Rec Center Front Desk/Floor Staff (Finance)
Position Key Accountabilities: - Maintain front desk operations, answers phone, takes daily reservations and checks out equipment. - Educate and assist members by communicating clear and consistent information. Handles sales to eligible members, sponsored guest, program enrollments and services, etc. Keep members safe by making rounds on the fitness floor and outdoor courts and swimming pool; maintaining awareness of users and enforcing policies in a positive manner. Give tours, assist with paperwork, racking weights, restocking cleaning supplies, etc. - Inspect and report on all areas and any issues during shift. - May perform opening and closing procedures - Assist with special projects as assigned.
Certification/Skills: Current CPR/AED required (We will certify if needed). Outstanding customer service. Initiate task and perform duties without direct direction or supervision. Willingness to learn and be a team player.
Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent and at least 18 years of age.
Minimum Experience: Previous customer service experience
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or ability to move objects such as weight plates and dumbbells.
