Senior Advanced Factory Systems Developer (Sr Adv Automation Engineer) (Finance)



YOU MUST HAVE:
  • Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of software design and development experience working with C#, HTML5, JavaScript, Microsoft Visual Studio, VB .NET, ASP.NET and Web Application Development.
  • Must have 5 years of experience with the following: overall software development experience; MS SQL relational database development experience; supporting manufacturing environments in a software or engineering role.
  • Must have 4 years of experience with the following: SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) / or Power BI Development; Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) application support experience.
  • Must have 3 years of experience with source code management (SCM) experience with tools such as GIT Hub, Bitbucket, TFS.
  • Must have 2 years of experience with working in or supporting Semiconductor Front End, Back End or SMT manufacturing.
  • Telecommuting permitted up to two (2) times per week.
Senior Advanced Factory Systems Developer (Senior Advanced Automation Engineer) for Honeywell International, Inc. in Richardson, TX

Responsibilities:

  • Champion the continuing development, deployment, and support of advanced factory systems.
  • Develop and maintain best practices in coding standards, code repositories, and tech debt resolution, while being a knowledge expert across many factory solutions and businesses processes.
  • Mentor peers and factory team members on development and deployment best practices.
  • Maintain and improve the performance of existing manufacturing software applications.
  • Develop complex SQL stored procedures/views as required.
  • Migrate legacy manufacturing reporting solutions forward.
  • Create and support complex reports and dashboards using Power BI, SSRS, and related tools.
  • Provide operational support for deployed environments within Manufacturing. Support manufacturing execution system (MES), and related factory systems, providing configuration, custom extensions, and integration with other applications and equipment.
  • Develop and audit quality management systems for manufacturing processes and quality control.
  • Work with Corporate IT and Honeywell Global Security teams to attain and maintain application and environment compliance to corporate standards.
