Duties & Responsibilities:
Position Overview:
Managing all activities of the company's delivery and shipping operations. It also involves ensuring that all shipping and receiving procedures, packaging, labeling, and documentation are properly prepared to meet all health, safety, and labor and export standards.
Responsibilities for Logistics Coordinator
- Planning logistics operations for receiving and sending out shipments, including managing transportation of goods.
- Arranging shipping services and establishing relationships with any other companies that will be involved with your company's deliveries.
- Maintaining clear communication with internal departments (sales, production, customer service) and external partners (carriers, suppliers)
- Coordinating with the production department to ensure that the needed inventory is ready to be shipped out on a timely basis.
- Overseeing warehouse supplies to ensure proper handling of all incoming and outgoing shipments in accordance with established procedures.
- Managing facilities to ensure they are clean, secure and well-lit to facilitate smooth operation of all logistics tasks.
- Using available resources to improve performance and on-time delivery of all orders.
- Scheduling activities in specific facilities according to established procedures and inputting records into the MRP system every day.
- Ensuring adherence to export regulations and documentation
