Sr. Business Analyst (Finance)

Sierra7 is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to join our team and work with theVeterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture Blood Establishment Computer Software (VBECS) team for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). In this position, the analyst will assist the team in maintaining documentation, developing and upgrading the current training program, and assist in understanding user requirements specifically within the realm of VHA and laboratories.

Position responsibilities:
Assist in capturing business requirements from users and success criteria for VBECS productAttend all VA meetings to capture change requests and provide inputs when requiredWork with internal and external stakeholders to determine development and business needsCoordinate with VA leadership, developers, and analysts to provide insight into business rules of the applications and systems specifically with a lab technician mindsetDocument all changes to applications and adhere to FDA regulationsTranslate user requirements, into simplified, well-organized user stories accompanied by clearly defined acceptance criteriaUse business requirements to help drive the design or review of test cases, process change requests, and help manage project scope, product acceptance, installation, and production deploymentAnalyze areas for process improvement and identify technical solutions
