Assistant Shopper Marketing Manager

Hybrid -2-3 days onsite

The Assistant Shopper Marketing Manageris the strategic partner to both the brand and account teams, responsible for the translation of brand plans into shopper plans that will drive conversion and grow theRoyalCanin& Eukanuba brands.They are responsible for supporting the Strategic, Neighborhood Pet and Regional Chains customers through the development and execution of shopper marketing programs, new product launches and lead post activity/event analysis for the Royal Canin and Eukanuba brands. They will manage projects for the team and other administrative responsibilities. This position reports to the Director, PSRO Marketing.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in business/ marketing required. Master's Degree a plus
  • 2+ years of Brand Marketing, Shopper or Customer Marketing, or Insights experience
  • Familiarity with Retail Environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in retail environment execution of Brand programs
  • Demonstrated success at working in an entrepreneurial environment
  • IRI/Nielson experience nice to have

What would be your key responsibilities?

  • Develop and implement annual trade and shopper promotion & marketing plans within assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate with Brand team and support retailers with the introduction of new products, product news, new packaging, and content.
  • Develop creative briefs and drive successful collaboration with agencies to execute sales tools, merchandise (displays and point-of-sale), and product training programs to support brand and customer initiatives in driving profitable volume.
  • Partner with sales and customers in annual planning meetings with innovative ideas to drive growth and collaboration, as well as ensure minimal distance from marketing priorities, on both short- and long-term strategies.
  • Evaluate and report on results of promotional activities.
  • Administrative/Support responsibilities (cross functional support, agency management, and ExpertVoice, etc.).
  • Partner with the visual merchandising lead on display development

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits.Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
