Sr Field Supervisor, BMS/Fire Alarm (Relo Provided) (Finance)



As a Sr. Field Supervisor-BMS/Fire Alarm here at Honeywell, you will supervise a Field Technician team for the Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) organization. You will apply your leadership skills to improve team performance, ensure engagement in new opportunities for market penetration, team deployment, and sales growth. You will liaise with multiple factions to help prevent and resolve customer problems and explore additional revenue-generating opportunities. The Sr. Field Supervisor will drive and improve metric reporting procedures and own operational metrics, targets, and budgets. You will lead quick and effective closure of any improvement opportunities. You will define team expectations and communicate those to the stakeholder. In addition, act as a mentor to train and develop future leaders.

You will report directly to our Regional General Manager. This role will be managing Field Service Techs in the Western Region.

*Must reside in CA, WA, CO, AZ, West TX, NM or NV

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct people leader of the assigned technical workforce (Regional or District)
  • Collaborate with other Sr. Field Supervisors/ Technical Operation Managers (TOM) throughout North America on staffing requirements
  • Collect, develop, and report performance metrics
  • Partner with Project Managers and Project Manager Leaders to best understand their staffing requirements (short and long term)
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Identify the resource needs for the region/district and dispatch the skilled workforce accordingly
  • Manage and Identify skill gaps, certifications, utilization & billability to ensure our project backlog is adequately staffed
  • Organize and conduct training for technical resources
  • Ensure field scope of work is clearly defined in the proposals to competitively bid to the Standard Work initiative parameters
  • Execute billable work in the assigned region, as needed
  • Dispatch technicians and orchestrate the method by which we mobilize our workforce
  • Drive business growth by enabling and leading a highly effective team, focused on innovation and customer satisfaction
  • Help Honeywell be the customer's top choice by improving upon the Customer & Product Support Function
  • Coordinate with Global Engineering Service (GES) leadership for tech resource requirements
  • Ensure the quality of software engineering deliverable is up to the standards
  • Collaborate with GES for field changes
  • Due to the nature of this discipline, on occasion, maybe required to work off-hours, on weekends, and/or holidays
  • A Company vehicle will be provided to travel to company sites
  • Travel: up to 60% US
  • Relocation support may be provided

The salary range for this position is ($90,400-$140,000). Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.   • 5+ years of experience required People Management experience
  • 10+ years of experience required BMS/Fire Alarm Field experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver's License and driving record acceptable to Honeywell

WE VALUE
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • Previous Building Automation industry experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work/operate independently, effectively manage a team as well as influence at varying levels across the organization
  • Ability to use experience to appropriately apply the established standards
  • Previous customer service experience
