Position Overview
The SVP, Information Security Operations reports to the Deputy Chief Information Security Office (D.CISO) to manage multiple teams of engineers and analysts within various information security operational roles. This includes information security teams supporting the Security Operations Center, Data Loss Prevention, and the Fusion Center. The Director of Security Operations will provide vision and thought leadership for the strategic planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of the company's information security program. The Director of Security Operations is a leadership role that will drive operational maturity of Wintrust's security program. The Director of Security Operations will work closely with the various Information Security (IS) and Information Technology (IT) as well as the various lines of business within Wintrust.
What You'll Do
Responsible for ensuring the development, management and effectiveness of Wintrust's risk management program within Information Security programs.
Responsible to interact with regulators and Internal Audit as well as provide materials for Board level reporting as it pertains to the programs under their remit.
Responsible for helping the Security Operations Center and Threat Intelligence team in identifying pertinent threats to Wintrust and developing solutions for preventing or detecting those threats.
Develop, monitor, and mature operational processes through various information security programs including but not limited to the Security Operations Center, Fusion Center, and Data Loss Prevention programs.
Responsible to assist the Deputy CISO in reviewing and evaluating security products for the organization.
Responsible for collaborating with the Information Technology and Information Security leaders and line of business leaders to manage and monitor security risks across Wintrust.
Develop and monitor appropriate metrics to ensure security risks are managed.
Qualifications
10+ years of Security Operations experience
Proven track record of developing and maturing security operations programs.
Experience managing security operational teams and programs in a large financial services corporation.
Excellent knowledge of regulatory guidance in Information Technology and Information Security.
Proven ability to build and manage a team.

Compensation
The estimated salary range for this role is $190,000.00 - $240,000.00, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
