Handfinisher - Level 2 (FAA) (Finance)



As a Handfinisher - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for performing finishing operations on aerospace components, ensuring high-quality standards and precision in your work. You will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, contributing to the overall success of our aerospace products.

You will report directly to our ISC Production Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on an onsite work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the quality and reliability of aerospace components, which are critical to the safety and performance of aircraft. Your expertise will help maintain our reputation for excellence in the aerospace industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform hand finishing operations on aerospace components to meet quality specifications.
  • Utilize various tools and techniques to achieve desired surface finishes and tolerances.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of production goals and quality standards.

FAA REQUIREMENTS

All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone). The DOT/FAA regulations require all employees, regular and temporary, in safety-sensitive positions, to be included in the Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan.As a Hand finisher - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will perform hand-finishing operations on aerospace parts, including deburring, polishing, and cleaning to meet precise specifications and quality standards. You will report directly to our ISC Production Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on an onsite work schedule.YOU MUST HAVE

  • 2+ years of experience in hand finishing or a related manufacturing role.
  • Strong knowledge of finishing techniques and tools used in aerospace manufacturing.
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments and quality control processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a manufacturing environment.
