Sr. Financial Analyst- Strategic Finance (Finance)

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field;
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
  • Training or coursework in financial analysis, valuation, and corporate finance principles
  • 4-7 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, strategic finance, corporate finance or consulting/financial advisory.
  • Proven experience building complex financial models for forecasting, valuation, and scenario analysis
  • Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and profitability modeling.
  • Advanced financial modeling and forecasting skills, including scenario analysis and valuation (DCF, IRR, NPV)
  • Deep understanding of financial statements and their interrelationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (lookups, pivot tables, macros) and data analytics tools (Power BI preferred)
  • Strong analytical ability to work with large, complex data sets and extract actionable insights
  • Experience supporting M&A activities, including valuation, due diligence, and integration
  • Ability to partner cross-functionally to support business decisions across departments
  • Skilled in presenting complex financial analyses clearly to senior leadership
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including effective storytelling through PowerPoint
  • Ability to translate financial data into strategic, actionable recommendations
  • Comfort working independently, managing multiple priorities, and delivering in a fast-paced environment
  • MBA or CFA/CPA preferred.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization/analytics platforms, preferred
  • Prior experience in M&A financial due diligence and integration, preferred
  • Experience presenting financial insights to C-suite or executive leadership, preferred

TK Elevator is currently seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst- Strategic Finance located in Atlanta, GA

Will serve as a key strategic partner to cross-functional teams, providing financial insights and data-driven recommendations to drive business decisions. You will analyze financial performance, support scenario planning, and help optimize business operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, financial modelling expertise, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for business leaders.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Financial Analysis & Modeling: Build complex, multi-layered financial models to support long-term planning, forecasting, detailed financial analysis, and scenario modeling. Demonstrate fluency with financial statements and a strong understanding of the connections between income, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
  • M&A Financial Support: Develop valuation models using income, market, and transaction approaches. Model synergies and create tailored pro forma financial projections from diverse data sources. Apply financial and economic concepts such as DCF, IRR, NPV, and cost of capital. Support due diligence and integration activities for M&A transactions.
  • Data & Excel Proficiency: Work with large data sets to clean, filter, and prepare data for analysis in support of assumption-driven financial models. Expert to advanced level of proficiency in Excel, including lookups, pivot tables, filters, and macros for automation. Proficiency with Power BI and other analytics platforms is a strong plus.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate cross-functionally with leaders across sales, operations, manufacturing, and other business units to provide financial insights, guide strategy, and influence decision-making. Confidently present financial analyses and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Communication: Communicate complex financial analyses clearly and persuasively, both in writing and verbally. Develop effective PowerPoint presentations and craft compelling narratives that translate financial insights for diverse audiences.
