Position Summary
Leads teams focused on Business systems and solution development and support. Designs, builds and supports solutions or improvements to business systems that can be accomplished through technology or alternative uses of existing technology. Oversees technical debt management, currency, KPIs and optimization of people. Serves as a liaison between the technical team, organization leadership, and providers. Oversees technical debt management, currency, KPIs, optimization of people and vendor activity for multiple vendors, may serve as primary relationship manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Experience implementing AWS analytics capabilities, including AWS Glue, Redshift, Athena, QuickSight, and SageMaker, to drive data-driven decision-making. Ensures compliance with data security and privacy regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and industry-specific requirements. Has established data cataloging, lineage tracking, and metadata management frameworks. Demonstrated technical competency developing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines with tools like Apache Spark, Airflow and dbt. Proven track record for optimizing queries for performance and cost optimization. Expertise implementing and driving adoption of emerging analytics and AI/ML technologies, identifying automation and promoting experimentation through innovation. Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts. A strong commitment to individual and team development.
Manages overall operations of designated area of authority. Interviews, hires, trains, and directs personnel. Prepares and conducts performance assessments, coordinates discipline and oversees Employee development as required.
