The Sr. Manager, Logistics Solutioning leads the development and implementation of logistics solutions, to support third party business objectives. This role involves strategic planning, solution design, team leadership, and ensuring seamless integration with key stakeholders. This role aligns Ingram Micro's engineering solutions to client business needs and the practical implementation of logistics solutions. This position plays a critical role in optimizing processes, reducing costs, and improving overall business performance.

Your role:

  • Solution Design: Creating and overseeing the design of logistics solutions, including warehouse layouts, process flows, and technology integration. Analyze and evaluate feasibility and relevance of proposed complex solutions and services; develop and amend as necessary with guidance from senior leadership.
  • Design and conceptualize - works effectively with cross-functional teams to conceptualize logistics solutions and services leveraging data to drive design ideas and decisions
  • Client needs clarification - consults with various customer representatives to identify required outcomes; clarify medium to long term client needs and develop and agree to specification of client requirements.
  • Strategic Planning: develops and implements 3PL strategies aligned with overall business goals.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborates with internal teams (e.g., engineering, sales, operations, IT) and external 3PL partners to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
  • Project Management: Leads or supports projects related to 3PL solution implementation, from initial concept to final deployment.
  • Cost Management: Develops and manages budgets for logistics operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identifies and implements opportunities to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
  • Market Analysis: Conducts research and analysis to understand market trends and competitive practices related to 3PL solutions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the 3PL solutions are meeting performance targets and identifies areas for improvement.

What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (e.g., industrial, mechanical, electrical) is required.
  • Master's degree in engineering, MBA preferred
  • 8-10 years of experience in network solution design, MHE, racking, conveyor solutions, and implementing automated equipment and processes, as well as significant experience in managing
  • 4 + years of experience leading 3PL engineering initiatives to support client business needs and the practical implementation of logistics solutions.
  • Supply Chain Expertise: Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, or operations, with a focus on solution, automation, and process improvement.
  • Third-Party Logistics Expertise: Deep understanding of 3PL management, including logistics operations, warehousing, transportation, and inventory management.
  • Solution Design: Proven experience in designing and implementing logistics solutions, potentially including both manual and automated systems.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage complex projects, including planning, execution, and stakeholder management.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to assess data, identify issues, and develop effective solutions.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders and present solutions.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with relevant technological solutions, such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
  • Continuous Improvement: experience with lean principles and other process improvement methodologies.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $131,700.00 - $223,900.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate's primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
