Sr. Staff, SAP Product Life Cycle and Data Transformation SME (Finance)

Position Requirements:

  • Develop and deploy Product Data readiness deliverables within the PLM, Data & Analytics workstream - with primary focus on Plan to Deliver value stream for the NextGen ERP program. PLM capability includes, but not limited to all enabling functions within the Plan, Source, Make and Deliver sub-functions as well as other sub-functions within PTD, OTC, STP, and RTR that require or generate Product Data.
  • Enhance and evolve the current Master Data Governance framework (both the approach and MDG tool usage) to manage multi-domain Master Data e.g., Product Master Data, Customer Master Data and Supplier Master Data
  • Develop or enhance Data Process Maps for End-to-End PLM Ecosystem, in full alignment with the L3 or applicable business process maps.
  • Develop or enhance Data Standards Document for End-to-End PLM Ecosystem, in full alignment with the L3 or applicable business process maps or operating procedures.
  • Enhance Product Data Standards document to evolve as Enterprise Data Standards document and accommodate all applicable Master Data domains e.g., Customers and Suppliers; and map out intended use for each critical Master Data elements by L2/L3 level transactional processes as applicable
  • Prioritize development and enhancement of Enterprise Data Architecture framework with SAP S/4 HANA as the core of the broader ERP application ecosystem.
  • Develop/enhance/evolve KPIs/metrics and how to measure Master Data success criteria and effectiveness across each applicable Master Data Domains (e.g., Product, Customer, Supplier etc.) by leveraging out of the box MDG reporting in S/4 HANA, otherwise provide reporting requirements
  • Develop, deploy and evolve Solution Architecture for ERP ecosystem - closely collaborating with GIS partners.
  • Provide business subject matter inputs into each of the ERP Solution Architecture building blocks e.g., R - Reports, I - Interfaces, C - Conversion, E - Extension, F - Forms, W - Workflows; with a clear focus on Enterprise Data
  • Provide Data Requirements for applicable Project deliverables, including but not limited to Data Migration, Data Conversion and Data Integration design specifications - by collaborating closely with PLM GBP and other workstream leads and mapping out Use Cases for end user requirements
  • Identify and prioritize scope for source data standardization and source data cleansing in the current SAP ECC and current ecosystem, prior to Data Migration/ Data Conversion into SAP S/4 HANA ecosystem
  • Develop data scenarios in order to test SAP S/4 HANA business Use Cases for PLM and Master data
  • Collaborate with PLM workstream leads, Training, OCM and GIS teams to map out PLM user roles in Teamcenter, SAP S/4 HANA and all Master Data ecosystems to align with Enterprise RACI, applicable training modules in LMS and roles setup in Service NOW/applicable GIS systems
  • Collaborate with overall program change management office to manage workstream of program and creates business training, and other related deliverables to ensure successful change adoption of NextGen ERP program.
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with the NextGen ERP program team, Business Leaders, and transformation office on status of deliverables, business decisions, and milestone progress.
  • Openly communicates ideas with organization and gains input from the business partners in order to influence and gain buy-in from senior leaders.

Preferred Experience/Education/Skills:

  • Requires Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field. M.S. or MBA preferred.
  • Must be very detailed oriented, data driven and fact-based analysis to arrive at solutions
  • Pays minute attention to details and highly analytical to research alternatives to achieve end objectives in a more efficient and effective way
  • Requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience in PLM, ERP transformation, Supply Chain, Procurement and Sourcing, and/or Finance roles.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experiences listed above.
  • Teamcenter PLM, SAP MDG/QM/IBP, or Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) certification preferred.
  • Broad knowledge of End-to-End PLM and role of Product data to enable core capabilities within PTD, OTC, STP, RTR.
  • Experience in Life Science, Technology, Biotechnology, and/or a healthcare/regulated environment is required.
  • Must have a track record of planning, managing and executing large-scale and multi-technology projects that meet quality, time, and budget requirements.
  • Proven ability in managing programs in a matrix organization across multiple regions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.

The estimated base salary range for the Sr. Staff, SAP Product Life Cycle and Data Transformation SME role based in the United States of America is: $138,800 - $208,200. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
