Data Analyst II (Finance)



As a Data Analyst II at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in analyzing complex data sets to help drive strategic business decisions and responsible for analyzing complex data sets and developing innovative solutions to drive business growth. You will leverage your expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making. You will play a significant role in optimizing processes, reducing costs, and identifying growth opportunities using cutting-edge technologies and advanced analytics. You will work closely with various departments to identify trends, develop insights, and provide actionable recommendations. Your expertise in data analysis and visualization will be essential in supporting our company's growth and success.

You will report directly to our Sr. Director IT Business Partner, and you'll work out of our Atlanta, GA location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Hybrid Work Schedule Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.

  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
WE VALUE
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.

  • Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver solutions.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing best practices in data management.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in data analysis techniques.
