Ecommerce Account Manager (Finance)



The Ecommerce National Account Manager is responsible for driving the growth of the Ecommerce and Marketplace channel activities (Amazon) while providing a positive shopping experience for our customers.

This role will assist with merchandising activities for our marketplace customers. The selected candidate will partner with existing Ecommerce resources to drive sales growth on marketplaces by delivering improved sell-through, market share improvement, increased average order value and brand awareness. This should be achieved by implementing data-driven merchandising strategies and improvements in customer experience.

The selected candidate will be able to quickly learn and adapt to the ever-changing ecommerce landscape. Being able to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick and correct decisions will determine success in this role. The candidate should also be passionate about ecommerce, and be able to stay up-to-date with the latest ideas and trends.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the day-to-day responsibilities of the Amazon marketplace
  • Ensure products are accurately priced to maintain account profitability
  • Proactively identify any product, service, or marketplace issues and resolve them accordingly
  • Focus on increasing traffic and sales through available marketing tools
  • Work with Sales team to uncover and execute new initiatives that will improve the customer experience and increase the overall business
  • Build relationships with key players on each marketplace account team
  • Track weekly performance metrics and implement strategies to improve these metrics
  • Business analysis, review daily sales reports, analyze web metrics, and identify areas of opportunity
  • Provide assets needed to create promotions, test deals and troubleshoot errors.
  • Review inventory reports to identify products needing special attention.
  • Assist inventory team with demand planning and forecasting
  • Curate additional product listings
  • Competitor research regarding pricing and sales strategies
  • Partner with customer service to quickly fix any open customer issues
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest marketplace changes and trends
  • Assist in implementing any 3 rd party tools that will help the organization succeed
  • Ability to explore creatively and share/implement ideas for company growth

Required Qualifications: Education, Licensing, Certification, and Experience
Bachelor's degree in relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Economics, Business Administration)
1+ year experience with Amazon
Basic knowledge of digital marketing functions
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships across functional areas
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Excellent written, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Quantitative and curious mindset
