Performance Team Leader II (Transportation)



As a Performance Team Leader you will be responsible for setting our hotels up for long-term success through the execution of effective performance strategies that you will be instrumental in identifying and implementing. This is a role that requires a deep understanding of both the General Manager and the Area Manager responsibilities in which you will have both collaborate and direct others to ensure that J&Ps high brand standards of excellence are achieved and maintained.
Key responsibilities of a Performance Team Leader include:
Review, analyze, and determine operational health of multiple properties.???Leverage your assessment of the hotel to develop strategies that are focused on optimizing the operations and improving occupancy.
Analyze business results and work with key business leaders to quickly develop effective strategies that address needs.Make key decisions and oversee execution, removing obstacles to success and ensuring appropriate resources are available to achieve standards.Drive high-quality and sustainable adoption of J&P Standards through a variety of means including (but not limited to): education and team building; being a great role model; leading associate engagement efforts and driving effective communication standards across the property.
In partnership with Area Manager(s) and General Manager(s) create and conduct Operational Health Check(s); develop quick & accurate assessments about the overall health of the assigned hotel, then develop strategies that are focused on optimizing the operation.?
In the absence of an Area Manager and in partnership with the General Manager, drive high-quality & sustainable adoption of J&P standards through a variety of means to ensure all associate and business decisions are in line with J&P policies and procedures.?In the absence of an Area Manager and in partnership with the General Manager, provide oversight and drive high-quality & sustainable adoption of J&P standards through a variety of means to ensure all associate and business decisions are in line with J&P policies and procedures.?In the absence of an Area Manager and in partnership with the General Manager, provide oversight that ensures preventative maintenance schedules are completed and Out Of Order rooms are managed effectively.In the absence of an Area Manager and in partnership with the General Manager provide guidance and oversight related to effective management of service scores ensuring collection of guest e-mail addresses, targeting known long-term guests,??and managing positive guest comments generated via multiple Brand and other social media platforms.?In the absence of an Area Manager and in partnership with the General Manager handles all assigned P&L responsibilities, ensuring the consistent profitability of the assigned property.?
In the absence of an Area Manager and in partnership with the General Manager ensures effective management of payroll/labor costs, scheduling policies, and inventory cost control policies are aligned with J&P directives.?In the absence of an Area Manager and in partnership with the General Manager ensures that our rigorous quality and cleanliness standards, as well as our commitment to world-class guest service, are consistently upheld.?In the absence of an Area Manager and in partnership with the General Manager ensures that the hotel property follows all federal, state, and local laws, including OSHA, EEOC, Wage & Hour, and Health laws?
Manages effective and timely interactions with key business leaders and property owners.
