Who we are looking for

The Head of the Office of SSGA's CEO will play a pivotal role in supporting the CEO of State Street Global Advisors (GA) on special projects including managing and executing strategic partnership arrangements and other assignments, directing internal and external presentations and speaking engagements, and ensuring the CEO is well-prepared for key activities. This role requires a strategic thinker with proven experience with client coverage and partner engagement, writing and coordinating key messages and presentations for c-suite individuals, and managing complex internal and external relationships.

What you will be responsible for

As a Head of the Office of SSGA's CEO you will

  • Assist the CEO with specific projects (e.g., M&A) to ensure projects are moving ahead and critical path issues are resolved and progressed, working closely with a broad range of colleagues across GA and State Street.
  • Own the creation and management of GA level objectives and key results, partnering closely with Corporate Strategy and Finance colleagues to ensure targets are monitored, supported and achieved.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in State Street and Finance to create materials and presentations along with quarterly business reviews.
  • Partner with the Internal and External Communications teams to manage and prepare all the CEO's speaking engagements and events.
  • Plan and manage the senior most GA Operating Group meeting agendas.
  • Ensure that the CEO has timely benefit of broader knowledge and inputs from the organization through briefing materials and required preparations for key external/internal activities.

  • Proven experience in writing, coordinating and outlining key messages for c-suite speeches and media engagements.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and departments.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate would have an MBA or equivalent degree.
  • Experience in corporate affairs and strategic planning is highly desirable.

Salary Range:
$170,000 - $267,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
