Contract Specialist II (Finance)



Position Title: Contract Specialist II  (S3)

Role 

Successfully execute components of contracts and demonstrates increasing understanding of the contract process.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Produce and complete contracts that adhere to terms
  • Meet or exceed target quality, volume targets and cycle time
  • Produce comprehensive documents that capture work and financial components on which the business can execute
  • Accurately forecasted volumes

 

Expectations 

  • Strong understanding of contract law, legal terms, and best practices in contract management. with telecom-specific contracts, such as master service agreements, is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and propose appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in contract drafting and review.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively and influence stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using contract management software and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and business needs, with a proactive and flexible mindset.

 

Education/Certifications   

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field
  • A Juris Doctor (JD) degree is a plus.
  • Certification as a Notary Public and e-Notary is required. Candidates without current certification must be willing and able to obtain it upon hire.

 

Experience/Minimum Requirements   

  • 2 or more years of experience in contract review or management

Working Conditions: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in the office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.  On Mondays and Fridays, teammates on the hybrid schedule will have the option to work from the office or home.  There is an expectation of collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter that could require travel. 

 

Compensation

 

The pay range offered for this position is $28.27-$38.85 per hour. A candidate's offer is determined by various factors including but not limited to, depth of experience, role-related knowledge and skills, relevant education or training, internal alignment, and work location. Depending on the position offered, the compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of a discretionary annual cash bonus or commissions, and equity incentives. Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan. Employees will also receive a minimum of 18 days of paid time off each year and 12 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
