Work Lead (Finance)



JOB DESCRIPTION

Advanced level position requiring very limited supervision and interaction. The Clearance Work Leader uses skills and abilities to perform tasks of high complexity and requiring deep technical experience while being responsible for their productivity and quality. The Work Leader will also have demonstrated leadership ability (e.g. provide technical assistance, help with quality reviews, and work assignments), and will begin to develop coaching and management skills.

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will utilize their advance knowledge of the inventory systems, and ability to perform complex tasks requiring deep technical expertise. They will utilize automated tools and resources. In addition, this individual will need to facilitate effective business relationships by delivering timely, accurate and comprehensive responses to customers through appropriate use of communication protocol. They will need to provide technical assistance, help with quality reviews and work assignments through the work inventory tools. In addition, the candidate will research issues, run reports and trend data to provide an analysis and subsequent potential solutions Assign work as needed.

Subject Matter Expert:

  • Demonstrate technical knowledge and expertise by answering all questions for the PSR business/products; provide support and direction for Processing Service Representative in the Retail Commercial Clearance team.
Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct as needed quality checks on transactions for Processing Service Representative.
Technical Skills/Competencies Required:

Candidates must demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills. In addition, candidates must have the ability to motivate and gain buy - in from others, reflect a positive attitude and interact professionally with all levels. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, strong attention to detail, ability to navigate through various systems & reports, and a proficiency in both Excel and Word. This individual should have analytical and problem-solving skills, be able to multi-task, work independently, collaborate well in a team environment, take responsibility for decisions and have good organizational skills.

Requirements:
  • Preferred candidates must be current PSR and work in the Processing center.
  • Internal candidates only, no relocation is provided.
  • Candidate should have a history of proven success in their current position, as demonstrated by productivity and quality performance results.
  • Preferred candidate will have demonstrated performance, and competency within Processing Service Representative processes & workflows in the Clearance Department.
  • Selected candidate will work a 5-day schedule.
