What's the role?

The LMS Specialist is responsible for the administration, support, and optimization of the organization's Learning Management System. This role identifies, troubleshoots and elevates issues with the LMS platform, provides technical and user support, manages course content, and collaborates with stakeholders to improve the learning experience. responsible for tracking and monitoring all mandatory training for MED new hire employees, as well as ongoing training requirements for all MED employees. Update functional leaders on training progress within their respective departments. Maintain and administer Tuition Reimbursement program.

Here's what you'll do:

  • Work with the company online training teams to ensure and audit the online site records are always updated showing the addition of new employees, removal of exited employees.
  • Partner with HR, Quality teams, and Learning & Development teams to align LMS with organizational goals.
  • Acts as liaison with global LMS team on systems updates affecting the US and other relevant tasks.
  • Ensure that employee groupings are created for ease of communication to employees who are required to complete specific training programs.
  • Recommend system enhancements to improve usability and learner engagement.
  • Troubleshoot and assist all employees with technical issues related to the completion of eLearning programs.
  • Work with department heads to facilitate the posting of their customized training material to the online training site, converting this to eLearning format where necessary.
  • Coordinate upkeep and issuance Learning Management System (LMS) for MED non-technical training.
  • User Support & Training: Provide technical support to learners, instructors; Create user guides, FAQs, and training materials for LMS navigation; Conduct training sessions for staff on LMS features and best practices.
  • Assist employees in understanding the Tuition Reimbursement program and administer the expense submission process.
  • Reporting of training issuance and completion including providing mandatory training completion statistics and learning utilization data for Quality ISC Committee meetings.
  • Assist the HR Manager with projects and tasks as needed including internal and external audit preparation of employee training records.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs additional assignments as directed to support HR function.

Do you qualify?

(Bona Fide Occupational Requirements, such as education, certification, and/ or skills that are necessary to do the job.)

• BS/BA degree is desirable.

• Typically requires a minimum of 3 - 5 years of related experience in a supporting role, preferably in a training function.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be able to deal effectively with cross functional teams.

• Strong planning and organizational skills is required.

• Must be highly flexible and have the ability to work on several projects simultaneously

• Excellent skills in MS Office suite required.

• Technical proficiency with LMS platforms and related tools. Experience with Cornerstone LMS preferred.

• Data-driven mindset with experience in reporting and analytics.

The hourly pay range for this position is $33.00 - $41.00.

The pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.

This position is eligible for a Performance Bonus.
