SUMMARY:
Directs and coordinates activities of workers engaged in repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment, and in maintenance of building and utility systems of facility by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises Facility Manager, Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Specialist, maintenance hourly employees and administrative clerk
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year College or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or board of directors.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, musical notes, etc.,) in its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.

WORK SCHEDULE:
Standard work hours will consist of eight hours per day, five days per week on an assigned shift.
Schedule hours may be altered as required by business conditions. This may be more (or less) than eight hours per day or five days per week. An ability to work overtime or irregular hours to include Saturdays, Sundays and holidays is essential for this position.
