Program Administrator 

The Stakeholder Engagement Lead is responsible for leading IT's Stakeholder Engagement program that ensures university voices help guide decisions about digital tools and technology investments at the University of Oklahoma.

This role oversees how stakeholder committees are managed and how engagement efforts are carried out. They also serve as a trusted facilitator who brings the right people together, guides meaningful conversations, and helps turn those discussions into action that aligns with university and IT priorities. Their work is essential to making sure IT plans and projects meet the real needs of the university community.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Put the Engagement Framework into Action and lead by example in creating inclusive and productive engagement experiences
  • Facilitate Strategic Conversations and build strong relationships with university stakeholders
  • Collaborate on Team Goals, working with the Planning & Engagement team to shape and improve how we plan and connect with others
  • Connect Engagement to Action, helping turn stakeholder input into results by working with IT leadership and teams across the university

**The position will office in Norman with a hybrid work model option for experienced candidates.**

Required Education: Master's degree AND:

  •  24 months related experience

Equivalency Substitution: Will accept 72 months' experience in lieu of the master's degree for a total of 96 months related experience.

Senior Program Administrator

The Stakeholder Engagement Lead is responsible for the implementation and long-term advancement of OU IT's Stakeholder Engagement program, a university-wide approach to ensuring voices from across the OU community inform digital strategy and technology investments.

This role is responsible for coordinating high-priority initiatives, managing key engagement processes, and shaping the long-term sustainability of stakeholder engagement practices. The Senior Program Administrator serves as a trusted advisor and strategic facilitator, bringing together diverse perspectives and driving action that supports university and IT priorities.  

The ideal candidate will:

  • Lead Stakeholder Engagement Operations by managing tools, timelines, and systems that support productive, wide-ranging engagement
  • Plan and Execute High-Priority Initiatives that advance stakeholder engagement goals and support university-wide strategic efforts
  • Coordinate Outreach and Representation with internal and external stakeholders, including statewide partners in higher education
  • Collaborate on Planning & Engagement Team Priorities, contributing to strategy, process improvement, and service excellence
  • Turn Engagement into Action, helping convert stakeholder input into coordinated IT priorities and measurable impact

  • Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information
  • Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Ability to build rapport with students, faculty and staff
  • Strong initiative to solve problems in a timely manner
  • Read and understand complex written materials such as blueprints, metrics or technical manuals
  • Able to effectively evaluate projects/programs and produce comprehensive reports
  • Able to work well with interdepartmental teams and initiatives
