The technique targets specific nerves near the kidneys that can become overactive and cause high blood pressure, also known as hypertension. High blood pressure is a global epidemic, affecting one-third to one-half of adults. Establishing a new-to-market therapy requires us to reach more healthcare professionals than ever - way beyond the reach of our sales representative rep footprint. Expanding our digital marketing capabilities will allow us to create an entry point for our sales reps while nurturing healthcare professionals (HCPs) through their journey to Medtronic renal denervation. To help bring this strategy to life, we are seeking an experienced Digital Customer Journey Manager to join our dynamic marketing team. This role will focus on defining and optimizing customer experiences through targeted, personalized journeys across multiple channels powered by Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other key enterprise technology platforms. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of customer behavior, experience with marketing automation, and proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools to create impactful customer experiences that drive engagement, conversion, and loyalty. A Day in the Life:

  • Customer Journey Strategy: Strategize, design and implement data-driven, automated customer journeys - from design to implementation to optimization - across email, social media, web, (and undiscovered channels) using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Journey Optimization: Continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize customer journeys to ensure high engagement and conversion rates, leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud's analytics and reporting features.
  • Segmentation and Personalization: Utilize Salesforce Marketing Cloud's segmentation and personalization capabilities to target customers based on behavior, demographics, and engagement history, ensuring each customer receives a tailored experience.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with marketing, IT, and sales teams to align customer journey strategies with broader business objectives and ensure seamless execution.
  • Automation and Workflow Management: Build and maintain automated marketing workflows that trigger personalized communications based on customer behavior and lifecycle stages.
  • Customer Data Management: Leverage Salesforce Marketing Cloud's data management tools to ensure accurate, up-to-date customer profiles, segmentations, and integrations with other CRM and marketing platforms.
  • A/B Testing and Performance Analysis: Plan and execute A/B testing to optimize messaging, content, and timing of customer touchpoints. Use data insights to refine and improve customer journeys.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Work closely with our marketing data analyst to provide detailed performance reports on customer journey campaigns, focusing on key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI. Make recommendations for ongoing improvements.
  • Customer Retention: Focus on retention strategies by identifying opportunities to re-engage customers and enhance long-term loyalty through targeted journeys.

Must Have:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 10 years of experience in customer journey management, marketing automation, or email marketing, with a strong focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or an advanced degree and 8 years.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Suite Expertise: Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Audience Builder, Data Cloud, and Reporting.

Nice to Have:

  • Tools & Software Management: Leverage marketing platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Target in addition to the Salesforce suite to pull journeys together
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies to improve customer engagement and journey performance.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Experience in designing customer-centric journeys that enhance our customers" and drive measurable results in terms of conversion and retention.
  • Process Enhancements: Experience defining new processes and improving existing processes with the ability to navigate ambiguity, quickly assessing opportunities and defining solutions.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data and journey strategies clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic coding is a plus for customizing emails and landing pages within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Demonstrate the ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs, priorities, and customer demands, adjusting work plans and strategies as necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, adjusting approaches based on feedback and evolving project requirements.
  • Continuously seek out opportunities to improve processes and workflows, responding to emerging challenges or new opportunities with innovative solutions.
  • Embrace and drive change, proactively identifying areas for improvement and suggesting creative, agile solutions to achieve organizational goals.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$144,000.00 - $216,000.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance , Health Savings Account , Healthcare Flexible Spending Account , Life insurance, Long-term disability leave , Dependent daycare spending account , Tuition assistance/reimbursement , and Simple Steps (global well-being program).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to all regular employees: Incentive plans, 401(k) plan plus employer contribution and match , Short-term disability , Paid time off , Paid holidays , Employee Stock Purchase Plan , Employee Assistance Program , Non-qualified Retirement Plan Supplement (subject to IRS earning minimums) , and Capital Accumulation Plan (available to Vice Presidents and above, or subject to IRS earning minimums).

Regular employees are those who are not temporary, such as interns. Temporary employees are eligible for paid sick time, as required under applicable state law, and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Please note some of the above benefits may not apply to workers in Puerto Rico.
