The Team:

Th Leadership Academy Lead is responsible for managing the design, development, organization, delivery, and evaluation of A&M's Leadership Academy program which is focused on developing a pipeline of A&M leaders equipped with the consulting and leadership skills necessary to support continued growth and success of the firm.

This role will collaborate closely with the business partners, leadership team, GPO Learning team, and SMEs to ensure that program initiatives align with organizational needs and objectives. This role owns project planning and execution, cost management, and stakeholder management including communications with the leadership team regarding program progress and cost.

How you will contribute:

Leadership Academy Operations:

  • Program Leadership: Lead program resources to support the effective design, development, organization, delivery, and evaluation of Leadership Academy programs.
  • Collaborate on Program Needs: Work closely with Business Partners, Executive Leadership, and the GPO Learning team to identify and prioritize program elements based on business performance challenges and objectives.
  • Guidance on Best Practices: Provide informed guidance on best practice approaches to address identified program objectives with blended learning and coaching solutions.

Program Management and Execution:

  • Project Management: Own all aspects of the project plan including project plan, stakeholder management, budget development, and cost management.
  • Stakeholder Management: Identify and manage engagement with key stakeholders including target audience groups, business partners, SMEs, team members, and vendors.
  • Cost Management: Collaborate with GPO Learning Lead to finalize budget and manage costs.
  • Communications: Develop and execute communication plans to all key stakeholders including leadership updates on program progress and costs.
  • SME Collaboration: Engage with SMEs to create and review program materials, ensuring fidelity to program objectives.
  • Vendor & Tool Management: Manage relationships with internal resources, partners and vendors and leverage operational tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Smartsheet, etc.) to produce top-tier program materials.

Curriculum Preparation & Execution:

  • Pilot Existing Courses and Evaluate for Inclusion in Program: Pilot existing courses with cross-section of BUs and evaluate potential to include in Leadership Academy curriculum based on feedback and outcomes. Update courses where needed.
  • New Course Development and Evaluation: Identify need for new courses to address program gaps and work with business partners and the GPO Learning Team to design, pilot, and refine new courses for inclusion in the program.
  • Instructor Preparation: Conduct \Train-the-Trainer\ sessions and ensure instructors are well-prepared for delivery.
  • Global Deployment Planning: Develop global deployment plan for full curriculum in collaboration with business partners, leadership, and the GPO Learning team.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Personal Professional Development: Maintain a clear focus on personal professional development to ensure A&M's leadership programs are cutting edge.

Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in education, Human Resources, Instructional Design, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPLP, ATD) are advantageous.
  • Experience: 10+ years in learning and development or program management; experience managing leadership programs, especially in a professional services environment, is advantageous.
  • Program & Content Management: Strong program management skills, with experience managing content libraries and ensuring version control and accessibility.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to evaluate program effectiveness using data and apply insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Communication & Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication skills, with experience collaborating with leadership and across departments as well as managing vendor relationships.
  • Organizational Acumen: Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and shifting priorities.
  • Client-Facing Skills: Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management/engagement skills, with experience dealing at all levels of an organization.
  • Resilience: Able to work well under pressure; effectively manage tight deadlines, ambiguity, unexpected delays, revisions, ad hoc requests, and changing priorities.
  • Data Utilization: Able to confidently utilize business and learning data to gain insight and inform design decisions.

Full-time Positions and Part-time Positions Over 30 hours

Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are also entitled to participate in Alvarez & Marsal Holdings' fringe benefits consisting of healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages at rates determined periodically as well as a 401(k) retirement savings plan. Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive an annual discretionary contribution to their 401(k) retirement savings plan from Alvarez & Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave. The salary range is $155,00 - $175,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
