Parts Pricing Analyst – Altec Parts Distribution (PCD) (Finance)

Altec Parts has an opening for a Pricing Analyst at the Midwest campus in St. Joseph, Missouri.

**This hire will need to currently live in Missouri.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 4-year Degree Preferred

OR
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 7 years applicable experience (Purchasing, Supply Chain)

AND
  • Microsoft Office suite experience required
  • Knowledge of supply chain principles and concepts required
  • ERP system experience preferred

Should the selected candidate meet the qualifications of a more experienced level in the career path, the job level may be adjusted.

ROLE SUMMARY

The Pricing Analyst is responsible for the execution of Altec's pricing strategy for replacement parts. This position primarily supports the Parts, Supply, and Service teams by setting list price for external customers. Additionally, the position will provide support in resolving complex requests by working effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Apply the Altec Pricing Strategy to replacement parts for sale direct to external customers and through Service
  • Conducts market research and analysis including trends, customer behavior, and competitor pricing strategies
  • Researches item and purchasing information to set list price per established standards
  • Maintain and update item costs, price lists, and discount modifiers
  • Conduct costs analysis for to inform pricing adjustments
  • Effectively communicate with internal groups regarding pricing decisions and strategies
  • Provide pricing support to Altec Service, Altec World Wide, and Altec Supply as needed
  • All other duties as assigned
