What You'll Be Doing:
- Comprehensive Evaluations: Assess patients' communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities to create personalized treatment plans.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Provide evidence-based therapy for speech, language, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting.
- Patient & Family Education: Empower residents and their families with strategies to improve communication and enhance quality of life.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with nurses, physicians, physical and occupational therapists to provide the most integrated care possible.
- Documentation: Accurately record patient progress and maintain clear and concise documentation.
What We're Looking For:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Ohio (or eligible to obtain licensure).
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing care is a plus, but we're happy to train the right person!
- A heart for working with elderly patients and a strong desire to make a positive impact on their lives.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- A collaborative mindset and a positive, "can-do" attitude.

Hourly Rate: $43-$50/hour
