Social Media Content Creator I (Finance)

Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. We are actively searching for a Social Media Content Creator I to conceptualize, produce, and deliver high-quality photo and video content tailored for Arthrex social media platforms. This role will collaborate with Communications, Medical Education, Product Management, Marketing, Human Resources, and other departments to create visually compelling stories aligned with brand standards and audience needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Production
    • Assist in planning meetings with stakeholders to understand project goals and target audiences.
    • Assist in planning video and photo shoot logistics including location scouting, props, wardrobe considerations, and model coordination under supervision.
    • Support creative ideation and trend research aligned to platform expectations.
    • Create or contribute to production documents such as shot lists, schedules, and visual outlines.
    • Coordinate talent scheduling, location reservations, and equipment checkout.
  • Production
    • Operate DSLR or mirrorless cameras to capture photo and video assets.
    • Assist in lighting, audio, and basic directing tasks.
    • Support small-crew shoots by preparing gear and running production logistics.
    • Coordinate the on-set logistics to keep the production on schedule and communicate to all parties when the schedules changes.
    • Capture content following composition, lighting, and exposure guidelines.
  • Post-Production
    • Edit simple social media content using Adobe Premiere Pro.
    • Perform basic photo and video editing tasks including cropping, light correction, and color balance.
    • Add basic transitions, captions, and branding.
    • Deliver photos and videos sized and formatted for platform specifications.
    • Tag and store assets following company asset management standards.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of relevant academic or internship experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Skills:

  • Ability to work well with a variety of team members to represent the planning viewpoint. effectively in a collaborative work environment.
  • Basic video production language skills to communicate basic direction on-set.
  • Must be flexible and possess the ability to balance the management of multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Capacity to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines.
  • Exemplifies initiative, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Team player with a willingness to collaborate.
  • Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures.
  • Work is closely supervised. Follows specific, detailed instructions.
  • Knowledgeable of best practices for pre-production, production and post-production workflows.
  • Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud and Apple Operating Systems.
  • Ability to study and learn anatomy and anatomical terms of location.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

Position requires a knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, Cinema Camera Systems, and Apple operating systems.
