Drafting Intern (Finance)

The Role
As a Drafting Intern at Amsted Rail, you will work closely with our engineering team to ensure drafting standards are upheld and to facilitate the organization and preservation of our existing drawings. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience while contributing to meaningful projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining and applying drafting standards in new and existing projects.
- Support in creating detailed CAD drawings and technical designs.
- Organize, review, and move existing drawings into our Drawing Vault (SolidWorks PDM).
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure accuracy and consistency in documentation.
- Ensure work tasks are completed on time.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Pursuit of certificate, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Engineering or related field.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Basic knowledge and experience in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Microsoft Office programs, including, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
