Business Development Manager - Mid-Market Sales (Marketing)



The Business Development Manager role at TruPay will target employer groups with 100 to 1,000 employees. We are looking for dynamic individuals that can work in a fast-paced environment, while utilizing a consultative approach to their sales process. You will be responsible for self-generating leads through prospecting, telemarketing, and sales database management to achieve monthly and annual sales quotas.
Responsibilities and Duties
Identify potential clients through networking, prospecting, telemarketing, and sales database managementDevelop and maintain excellent relationships with referral sources, like CPAs, banks, and brokersDemonstrate the TruPay sales process by consistently utilizing strategic selling analysis and processMeet or exceed agreed upon sales activity and sales targetsRecord all sales activity in our sales management and CRM toolsPrepare and present proposals, as well as, provide appropriate follow-up throughout the sales processDetermine prospective customers need for Payroll, HCM and more, followed by presenting TruPay services to meet those needs
Knowledge, Skills and Ability
Excellent prospecting and new business development skillsStrong presentation, written and oral communication skillsCritical thinking and decision-making skills to handle objections throughout the sales cycleStrong organizational and time management skillsStrong listening skills and ability to form relationships with senior decision makers
Education and Experience
2-5 years of experience in a quota-driven, business to business sales positionCollege degree strongly desired
