CAD Designer (Finance)

The CAD Designer supports the engineering team by creating detailed design drawings and contributing to rotorcraft electrical and mechanical design projects. Working closely with engineers and senior designers, this role provides hands-on experience with CAD tools like SolidWorks, E3, and PDM, while assisting with mock-ups and material research. The position is ideal for candidates passionate about aviation who are eager to develop their skills and contribute to project milestones within a collaborative, values-driven environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support engineering staff by working alongside a team of Engineers and CAD Designers to produce detailed design drawings that meet project and drawing standard requirements using SolidWorks, E3 and PDM CAD tools.
  • Assist in mock-up efforts associated with new design development
  • Research material and part specifications
  • Coordinate design issues with senior engineering staff
  • Contribute to project milestones on multiple projects
  • Conduct oneself in accordance with Company's Core Values
  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Associates degree or higher in CAD Drafting or equivalent Basic CAD proficiency certificate
  • Aware of CAD design and aerospace engineering roles
  • Previous experience with SolidWorks, experience with Zuken E3 is a big plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications
  • Maintain a good working relationship with all team members, stakeholders and customers
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team-oriented environment
