The Cardiac Diagnostics & Services (CDS) business is at the forefront of transforming cardiac care through early detection, remote patient monitoring, and advanced digital health platforms. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Principal Prospective Patient Marketing Program Manager to lead our direct-to-patient (DTP) and direct-to-consumer (DTC) marketing efforts. This high-visibility role will be instrumental in shaping how Cardiac Diagnostics and Cardiac Rhythm engages and educates prospective patients, drives awareness of our diagnostic solutions, and builds long-term trust with consumers . As the primary architect of our patient-focused marketing programs, you will be responsible for developing and executing omnichannel campaigns, building out core capabilities in consumer engagement, and collaborating across marketing, clinical, commercial, digital, and external agency partners. This is a unique opportunity to create meaningful impact at the intersection of digital innovation and human health.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

In this high-impact role, you'll lead the strategy and execution of digital patient campaigns that directly connect patients with Medtronic's cardiac diagnostic solutions. Your days will blend creative collaboration with data-driven decision-making-shaping messagin g , aligning cross- functional teams, presenting insights to leadership, and continuously refining how we reach and engage prospective patients. Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and scale direct-to-patient/consumer marketing strategy and execution across the CDS business.

  • Design and launch integrated DTC campaigns that drive awareness, education, and activation among prospective patients.

  • Build and own the performance metrics , from strategy to execution .

  • Partner closely with product marketing, digital teams, clinical stakeholders, and external agencies to align messaging and ensure brand consistency.

  • Analyze and report on campaign performance using KPIs and consumer insights to continuously optimize efforts.

  • Identify and incorporate emerging channels and tactics (e.g., SEO, paid media, social, influencers) into patient digital strategy.

Basic Qualifications: Must Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant digital experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the digital pharmaceutical , medical device, or other healthcare -centric industry

  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional, multichannel marketing initiatives in p atient advocacy , d igital strategy , and execution

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, programs and changing priorities

  • Proven ability to think strategically and translate digital v ision into results.

  • Experience with digital marketing platforms, analytics tools, and content development.

  • B ring structure and recommendations where none exists

  • Ability to travel up to 20 % of the time

Nice to Have:

  • MBA or advanced degree in marketing or healthcare-related field.

  • Experience in cardiology, diagnostics, remote monitoring, or chronic disease management.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit balanced with collaborative style and professional maturity

  • Knowledge of HIPAA and regulatory considerations for patient communications.

  • Comfort operating in a matrixed, fast-paced environment with senior-level visibility.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$117,600.00 - $176,400.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance , Health Savings Account , Healthcare Flexible Spending Account , Life insurance, Long-term disability leave , Dependent daycare spending account , Tuition assistance/reimbursement , and Simple Steps (global well-being program).

Regular employees are those who are not temporary, such as interns. Temporary employees are eligible for paid sick time, as required under applicable state law, and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Please note some of the above benefits may not apply to workers in Puerto Rico.
