LOCATION MAINTENANCE & REPAIR TECHNICIAN - Reno, NV area - part-time
$23 - $24 / hour
Plus $25.00 per hour + mileage reimbursement for servicing fitness locations.
In addition, this position is eligible for $5 a month paid for monthly cellular phone allowance.
Estimate hours 15 - 18 per week; weekend, and Holiday work may be required though this position has general work days Mon-Fri (4 hours per day).

BASIC FUNCTION
Seeking a self-motivated individual for a Part-Time Location Manager position. This position will work a defined schedule at the Reno/Tahoe International Airport as well as one visit per week at the Meadowood Mall and Planet Fitness Clubs in the Reno area as needed. Duties will include, but are not limited to, performing monthly collections, repairing, cleaning and performing regular maintenance on luggage cart vending units, luggage carts, stroller vending units and strollers, wheelchair and massage chair maintenance and repairs at the airport, massage chair collections at the airport and massage chair maintenance at Planet Fitness locations. We are looking for the right person to join our team, so we are willing to train that candidate on our job functions. Daily local travel (mileage reimbursement).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspect and perform maintenance on equipment, including Strollers, Massage Chairs, and Luggage Cart Systems and wheelchairs in the Reno area.
- Clean strollers, massage chairs, cart and stroller vending units to ensure clean and functional equipment is always available for customers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Perform cash collections accurately and efficiently. Deposit collections and complete end of month paperwork in a timely manner.
- Complete and submit all necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner.
- Maintain database to record tasks, equipment meter readings, and service history of equipment.
- Establish, organize, and replenish personal inventory of replacement parts, tools, and cleaning supplies.
- Manage locations in accordance with applicable state and federal laws, as well as Smarte Carte and facility policies, procedures, and standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
- Technical degree preferred

- Working knowledge of equipment

- Minimum three years customer service experience required
- 3 years of field-based product support experience (route) is preferred
- Some level of mechanical and diagnostic aptitude, including root-cause analysis. Smarte Carte has a comprehensive training program, which includes repair training on all equipment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Lift 40 lbs. to waist height
- Push/Pull 75-100 lbs.
- Bend and stoop, walk and stand for long periods of time
- Visual acuity/manual dexterity to perform mechanical and electrical repairs
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS
- Valid Drivers license required
- Ability to obtain airport badge required
