This position primarily assists in coordinating the placement of manufacturing orders and maintain the production schedules for the western species utility pole network. Additional duties include reviewing/compiling reports, collaborating with other departments, and executing/maintaining process improvement projects under the guidance and supervision of the Master Scheduler to support the networks overall operations.
Principal Responsibilities:
Planning and processing orders of numerous Stella-Jones locations to support supply chain needs.
Daily order processing into network treating/production schedules.
Coordinates and expedites priority orders.
Assists in process improvement efforts under guidance of Master Scheuler.
Monitors late orders and other designated KPIs.
Maintains production targets through reporting and communication.
Assists with the weekly production call presentation preparations.
Collaborates with designated plant representatives and Sales to manage plant inventories and target levels.
Participates and contributes to company safety program.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education: Associates degree or BA/BS Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Project Management or related field preferred
Experience: 1-3 years' experience in scheduling and planning.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Computer proficient including MS 365 and ERP systems; high proficiency in Bluebee and SAP desired.
