Graduate Medical Education (GME) Specialist (Finance)



Work Schedule:

This position is 100% FTE, 40 hours per week. Scheduled shifts are Monday - Friday between the hours of 8am - 4:30pm. This position and other department staff operate remotely, with on-site shared space available for organizational department needs; this position will work onsite once a month for team meetings. This position is a hybrid position for WI & IL residents with occasional onsite staff meetings.

We are seeking a polished administrative professional for our Graduate Medical Education Specialist position at UW Health.

  • You'll provide administrative and operational support for UW Health's 800+ training physicians for more than 80 programs.
  • Take charge of the oversight and timely completion of various institutional, program, and trainee requirements, including onboarding, as dictated by: ACGME accreditation, regulatory bodies, institutional and GME policies, and systems.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in business, systems management, human resources or related field Required
  • Two (2) years of relevant work experience or TAGME certification may be considered in lieu of degree, in addition to work experience below
  • Bachelor's Degree in education, business administration, systems management, human resources, communications, or related field Preferred

Work Experience

  • 2 years of experience working in a business office environment Required
  • 2 years of experience as a GME program coordinator or accreditation or regulatory experience Preferred
