Intern - Application Developer (Personal Services)

This position is part of the Bank's Internship/ Co-op Program which is offered to students who are currently enrolled in graduate and undergraduate studies. This Program identifies talented and qualified candidates who could potentially fill professional job openings in the Bank.

This position is a primarily onsite role and you agree to work in the FRB Boston office. If ever working from your home office, you agree to have the appropriate office set up to support your full engagement and protection of Federal Reserve information

Role and Responsibilities

The intern is responsible for the development, implementation, and support of software applications developed on the Microsoft Power Platform or SharePoint Online; this work may include development of new applications or maintenance and enhancement of existing applications. Reporting to a more senior team member, this individual will receive training and hands-on mentoring to learn the fundamentals of application development and tech support.

Skills

Knowledge of Web technologies including HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.

Experience developing workflows using the Microsoft Power Platform or SharePoint Online is a plus.

Experience working with data storage and retrieval including use of relational and/or non-relational database management systems is a plus.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn required.
