Location: Milwaukee, WI

Currently, our in-office schedule is Tuesday through Thursday in our beautiful, newly renovated, historic building in downtown Milwaukee at 648 N. Plankinton Avenue. Beginning September 1, 2025, we will transition to an in-office schedule of Monday through Thursday, with Friday as an optional work-from-home day, balancing collaboration and flexibility. Additionally, our dress code is always Business Casual, ensuring a professional yet comfortable work environment.

Summary - basic function of the role

As a Commercial Marketing Manager you are crucial to achieving our company's growth! As the interface between the sales team and the global marketing team you must identify our biggest barriers to sales and design and implement creative ways of overcoming them. You are responsible for the development and execution of strategies/ plans to grow sales and profitability of new and existing products. These plans will include driving the creation of collateral, sales training for internal and external sales force, advertisements, promotions, campaigns, website SEO, social posts, product demos, etc. Additionally, you have responsibility for providing voice of customer and competitive landscape information used to build new product business cases along with providing new product ideas for the region. You will report to the Director of Marketing, Commercial Americas, and will work closely with cross-functional teams, including: Global MarComm, Regional Commercial, Vertical Account Managers and Product Management.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Advise, plan, execute and analyze distributor marketing campaigns with input and assistance from field sales managers and global marketing teams. This may include coordinating and sending training or marketing materials to a distribution partner, working on projects to update partner websites, and developing focused promotional campaigns with distributor marketing teams.
  • Own the development, distribution and analysis of promotional campaigns that drive product sales within the region through the distribution channel. This should include multi-faceted techniques that target both distributor (push-to) and end-user (pull-thru) strategies. Additionally, track and analyze product sales and profitability for the region by leveraging Oracle and Salesforce.
  • Assist with the development and successful launch of sales enablement tools that support field sales teams in efforts to promote and sell Enerpac product. This may include working in partnership with the product management team to properly reflect product feature/benefit/solution sales propositions.
  • Own marketing efforts and analysis for key verticals that drive meaningful lead generation. This may include strategizing, planning and overseeing the launch of integrated marketing campaigns with tactics such as webinars, thought leadership, digital and traditional advertising, case studies, and PR and social.
  • In support of lead generation efforts, own trade show support and execution for key verticals, consisting of securing booth space, creative development, product request and inclusion, attendee coordination and post-show analysis.
  • Assist with the collection of VOC data and relevant data - market size, sales forecast, target markets and applications, product and support requirements - for the development of new product ideas for execution by the product management team.
  • Experience with PO requisition and processing, as well as budget management.
  • Travel required would be approximately 10-15% of your job, may spike to 30% for big events

Skills and Competencies
  • Demonstrated ability developing, launching and analyzing marketing campaigns that drive lead cultivation.
  • Firsthand experience supporting trade shows, including the transport of displayed product and on-site attendee coordination.
  • Experience with industrial distribution in North America and preferably Latin America as well
  • Ability to obtain and manage voice of customer information from internal and external customers
  • Demonstrated skills in project management with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills are required
  • Demonstrated ability to comprehend technical concepts and transform it into engaging marketing content
  • External customer relations experience
  • Excellent organizational skills are required
  • Domestic and international travel required
  • Proficiency with budget management and invoice processing.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and Power Point) are required.

Education and Experience
  • BS/BA degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent previous experience.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in a marketing role, including firsthand experience gathering and applying data analytics. Experience with marketing industrial products through a distributor channel is strongly preferred. Experienced with developing and launching sales enablement strategies/tools. Experienced in gathering voice of customer from end users.

Physical Demands

Employee may have to lift documents/work materials up to 30 pounds in weight. Employee may have to life demonstration tooling up to 100 pounds in weight. Employee will have to be able to walk/climb to a variety of primary work locations, including traveling by air/auto to remote sites. This can include occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and the like. Employee will need to listen, understand, and speak with team members in person, telephonically, and electronically at all levels within a diverse workforce and with supported organizations. Employee will need to assess the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned. Employee can work in front of a personal computer and telephone for long periods of time. Will have repetitive motions that include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

Work Environment

Primary work environment is temperature-controlled office setting but may also be visiting different customers where following appropriate safety protocols at the location would be required. While visiting customers, employee may occasionally be exposed to high/low temperatures, outdoor elements (such as precipitation and wind), high levels of noise, hazardous conditions, small and/or enclosed spaces, or adverse environmental conditions.
