eInvoicing GTM Director (Finance)



Job Description:

The Global E-invoicing GTM Strategy Director is a critical leadership role responsible for supporting the definition and execution of the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for global e-invoicing solutions. Reporting directly to the VP of Global E-invoicing Solutions, this position will act as a bridge between key functions-including product management, marketing, sales, and operations-to ensure our offerings are effectively positioned, launched, and supported across regions. The focus will be on driving revenue growth, aligning strategies with global compliance trends, activating strategic partnerships, and fostering customer adoption.
Primary Responsibilities

  • Go-to-Market Strategy Development: Define and implement a comprehensive GTM strategy for global e-invoicing solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as a strategic liaison between product, marketing, sales, and operational teams to streamline efforts and ensure a unified approach across regions.
  • Market Positioning: In collaboration with the marketing team develop compelling positioning and messaging strategies that highlight the value and competitive advantages of our e-invoicing offerings.
  • Regional Alignment: Support the marketing and the sales functions on adapting GTM strategies to meet the unique needs of different markets, based on compliance trends, customer expectations, cultural alignment and partner dynamics.
  • Revenue Growth: Support the Product Management function to drive customer acquisition and partner activation efforts that directly contribute to revenue growth, leveraging insights from compliance regulations and market demand.
  • Product Launches: Ensure successful global product launches by coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish KPIs and monitor GTM performance to identify opportunities for improvement and achieve strategic goals.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in go-to-market strategy development or a related leadership role in global e-invoicing, compliance solutions, and enterprise SaaS.
  • Strong understanding of global compliance trends and regulatory frameworks impacting e-invoicing practices.
  • Track record of driving revenue growth through strategic initiatives, partner activation, and customer adoption.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a history of working cross-functionally across product, marketing, sales, and operations teams.
  • Experience managing regional or global strategies in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to support the management of complex M&A integrations and unify GTM workflows.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to establish KPIs, interpret performance metrics, and optimize strategies accordingly.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Pay Transparency Statement:

US Base Salary Range: $189,600.00 - $246,400.00

Base pay offered to new hires may vary based upon factors including relevant industry and job-related skills and experience, geographic location, and business needs.* The range displayed does not encompass the full potential of the role, which allows for further growth and career progression.

In addition, as a part of our total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Vertex Bonus Plan (VOB), a role-specific sales commission/bonus, and/or equity grants.
