Sr. Finance Analyst (Finance)



As a Sr. Finance Analyst here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in providing financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making and drive business performance. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency.

You will work out of our Morris Plains, NJ location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the financial health of the organization by delivering accurate financial forecasts, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights that will guide business strategies and initiatives.YOU MUST HAVE

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or related roles.
  • Strong hands on experience working with Excel and other MS Office tools
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools. Examples: (Power BI or Tableau)
  • Experience with budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations.
WE VALUE
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Over 2 years of ERP experience with tools (SAP, Hyperion, or Similar)
  • Experience in financial analysis or business analysis roles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams.
  • Able to communicate with senior leadership through presentations
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Analyze and manage the balance sheet for the Advanced Materials business unit
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards
  • Identify risks and opportunities and provide insights to drive financial performance
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement strategies for optimizing financial performance
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management

Pay Transparency

The annual base salary range for this position is <$96K - $120K>. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
