What to Expect
Schedule: Days 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM no weekends (does rotate on call)
This position will oversee the following locations for Vitalant's Transfusion Services laboratory:
- UPMC East, St. Margaret's, McKeesport, Washington-Greene and Wheeling

- Manage Vitalant Transfusion labs assigned.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, medical technology or medical laboratory science required.
- Certification as a Medical Technologist by a recognized certifying agency or CLIA equivalent for moderate or high complexity testing required.
- Certification as a technologist in blood banking (BB) or specialist in blood banking (SBB)
preferred
Two years supervisory experience required.
Previous blood bank or blood center experience preferred.
