Position Summary:
Bridgeway Center, Inc. (BCI) is excited to invite qualified candidates to apply for the role of Peer Support Specialist (PSS) for the Certified
Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) who are passionate about the safety of children and family restoration.
The Peer Support Specialist (PSS) have been successful in the recovery process and who help others experiencing similar situations. Through
shared understanding, respect, and mutual empowerment, PSS help people become and stay engaged in the recovery process and reduce the
likelihood of relapse. Peer support services effectively extend the reach of treatment beyond the clinical setting into the everyday environment of
those seeking a successful, sustained recovery process. PSS provide and document their activities and other services in the electronic health
record.
Applicants must be outgoing and enjoy working with the public, professional, and para-professional team. Have the ability to collaborate and
communicate with BCI departments and external stakeholders. Must be able to multi-task and remain professional at all times to ensure that each
client has a positive and helpful therapeutic experience.
