Freight Coordinator
Starting Range: Up to $30.21 an hour (based on experience) for day shift with a 7.5% an hour shift differential for night shift.

Location: 3094 Lester Dr. Kendallville, IN
As our Freight Coordinator, you will:
- Oversee and execute daily freight and logistics operations
- Drive on-time delivery, manage freight costs, and reduce chargebacks through accurate tracking and data analysis
- Perform manual duties related to the preparation and shipment of customer samples, components and finished products mailed primarily through Fed Ex, UPS, USPS or other similar carrier.
- Lead / drive analysis of fright vender cost and performance. Recommend changes if needed
- Lead and coach employees in all aspects of operation, housekeeping and crew maintenance processes, safety and quality requirements
- Verify and communicate both product standards and work standards to execute production
- Participate in Continuous Improvement activities that improve the work centers performance
- Work in a team environment and cross-train with others or be able to work independently

- Assist with new equipment evaluations, installations, and training aids
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to Lift and carry up to 50 pound
- Must be able to stand for the entire duration of your shift
Qualifications:
- 1+years of directly leading a shipping crew is required
- 2+ years of direct experience coordinating freight is required
- Power user of internal systems and carrier platforms
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail, Excellent communication skills
- Required knowledge of Lakeside Freight /Shipping process
