Cybersecurity Intern (Finance)



JOB SUMMARY

The Intern position is assigned to the relevant company department. Depending on the assignment, this unique role is responsible for become familiar with the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service. It rotates through our divisions of responsibility and provides ideas to grow and improve the business. Accepts designated, business-focus projects to research, propose ideas and solutions, and presents final project during the internship. The Intern engages with customers or clients and provides service and/or sales, provides suggestions to management for improving customer service and internal processes. Learns and becomes proficient on internal software systems.

The position requires the ability to use a variety of soft skills, technical skills, and industry knowledge to provide the most comprehensive support to Company. The Intern must be able to adjust quickly to real-time changing priorities and problem solve within a complex and fluid environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates a unique blend of technical skill, creativity, and collaboration. Additionally, candidates must be service oriented and focused on continuous learning.

  • Keeps informed of industry trends through benchmarking, participation in professional associations etc. to support operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY

Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference depending upon the nature of the position

Basic Qualifications

  • United States citizenship preferred
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Ability to acquire and maintain any other specific special clearances / access requirements.

Education/Experience
  • Enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in a Computer Science or Electrical and Computer Engineering major program.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • At least two (2) years of relevant experience in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred

Background Prerequisites

Must undergo and meet company standards for background and reference checks, controlled substance testing, and behavioral selection survey, in addition to any mandatory licensing requirements
