Talent Acquisition Specialist (Creative Design)

What will your job look like?

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for effectively partnering with hiring managers to execute Talent Acquisition Strategies in direct support of business objectives. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will own the full life cycle recruitment process (posting, identifying, attracting, assessing, hiring and onboarding talent) with strong knowledge of the business/culture and the available talent pool in their assigned territories. The Talent Acquisition Specialist needs to be driven, innovative and customer centric so they can engage top talent for a variety of roles within the organization, and continue to improve the company's employment brand.

Location: Hybrid- Town & Country, MO

What you'll do:

  • Proactively identify, engage, and attract top-tier talent through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and specialized industry platforms

  • Craft compelling outreach that gets responses and starts conversations to identify and attract top talent for the organization

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, understanding their leadership hiring needs and delivering strategic talent solutions

  • Identify and engage senior-level talent through proactive sourcing, referrals, market mapping, and networking

  • Craft enticing job descriptions to attract top talent and maintain job postings on external sites

  • Execute the full life cycle recruitment process from job posting through the candidate onboarding stage

  • Provide a best-in-class candidate experience for each prospective employee at every stage in the hiring process

  • Conduct Recruiting Strategy Meetings with hiring managers to ensure an understanding of the recruiting needs and job requirements, and advise on most appropriate action to take

  • Own the sourcing and management of candidate pools, which includes building and maintaining talent pipelines to fill positions in a timely manner, and identifying and approaching active and passive candidates through internal and external channels, including social media

  • Communicate with Hiring Managers regularly regarding the status of the recruiting process, as well as facilitate ongoing professional communication with all stakeholders involved in the recruiting process

  • Screen applications, create and conduct behavioral based interviews, assess and select the most appropriate candidates to present to the hiring manager based on required skill sets, qualifications and competency requirements

  • Leverage sourcing tools (LinkedIn, Boolean search, niche platforms, etc.) to find and reach passive candidates

  • Accurately enter all new hires and promotions into Workday and save all required documentation into personnel files

  • Maintain current knowledge of current labor market trends, competitors and general recruiting trends and share with hiring managers as appropriate

  • Build strong relationships with management/hiring teams and establish the Talent Team as a trusted resource for finding top talent

  • Responsible for achievement of targeted KPIs

  • Act as a Brand Ambassador and represent MTM as an Employer of Choice by maintaining an in depth understanding of MTM's business and culture

  • Adhere to all processes and procedures defined as part of the full life cycle recruitment process

What you'll need:

Experience, Education & Certifications:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent amount of relevant experience

  • 3+ years of experience in a Recruiting role, in a corporate setting or agency/search firm

  • 2+ years sourcing experience with focus on passive and active candidate generation

  • Strong experience in leadership recruiting

  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

  • Ability to provide coaching and guidance to hiring managers, and that includes having difficult conversations when necessary to keep the recruiting process compliant and effective

  • Intermediate level of proficiency or above with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

  • Ability to leverage social media recruiting tools such as LinkedIn & Indeed for sourcing & recruiting
