Video Producer - Editor II (Sales)

We are currently searching for an excellent Video Producer—Editor II who will join the Studio 41 team at F5's Seattle headquarters. This role involves creating compelling customer experiences that drive F5 brand awareness, internal and executive communications, and effective demand generation. 

Position Summary 

 

As a Video Producer—Editor II, you will leverage your extensive experience to manage all aspects of the video production lifecycle, including project communications, editing, compositing, motion graphics, and post-production workflows. Success in this role requires the ability to independently balance multiple projects at once, demonstrate a strong sense of creative storytelling, and consistently raise the bar in everything you do. You will create effective, data-driven customer-facing content while leading, communicating, and influencing decisions on production best practices. You will:

  • Produce end-to-end quick-turn video projects while supporting senior and executive producers in major go-to market initiatives. 

  • Perform all post-production duties: editing, compositing, transcoding, color grading and 2D animation. 

  • Understand and execute production workflows including long-form multi-camera presentations, branded short-form digital, social, documentary, commercial, and broadcast events. 

  • Partner with marketing mangers, product marketing, and social media managers to understand business needs and content strategy involved in all projects. 

  • Work with art directors, designers and motion leads to ensure every project is executed on brand and the quality of your work is consistent across different media types. 

  • Work with copywriters and producers to conceptualize, edit, and produce concise and compelling  storylines. 

  • Incorporate and maintain departmental software, systems, and tools to ensure efficient quick-turn workflows. 

  • Lead our LTO and archiving processes. 

  • Establish effective and productive working relationships with team members and internal business partners. 

  • Uphold F5's Business Code of Ethics and promptly report violations of the Code or other company policies. 

  • Perform other related duties as assigned. 

 

 

Your knowledge, skills, and abilities:  

  • Understand the creative process and production workflows unique to media and video.  

  • Expert understanding of Adobe CC and other industry-standard post-production tools (Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder, DaVinci Resolve and 2D animation). 

  • Keenly organized and can build repeatable processes that drive efficiencies through the production lifecycle. 

  • Asset, achieving and file management wizardry. 

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to deliver multiple projects on tight deadlines with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail. 

  • Demonstrated awareness and adoption of emerging technology, tools, media, and digital platforms. 

  • Ability to approach others with humility and learn from different perspectives, actively helping to build a culture where everyone feels they can be themselves—and be successful. 

  • A self-starter, able to seize opportunities, and stretch abilities with minimal direction. 

  • Able to keep all projects on track and communicate project status with manager and team. 

  • Experience with B2B marketing methodologies in the tech industry is a plus. 

 

You have: 

  • Track record of success driving video production and marketing strategies for a brand or product with meaningful results in the market. 

  • Experience leading post-production solutions for advertising initiatives, marketing campaigns and digital event production. 

  • In-depth understanding of diverse types of video production processes and deliverables: digital events, broadcast, short and long-form brand stories, and social-first content. 

  • 3+ years of experience working alongside or directly in an internal creative video team or agency environment. 

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred. 

  • A digital portfolio showing innovative and compelling work in advertising, branded content, broadcast, and integrated multi-channel campaigns.

The annual base pay for this position is: $78,743.00 - $118,115.00

F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5's differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
