Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
Orangeburg, NY, United States | req24302 This role works 2nd shift 3:30p-12p, alternate split shift may be considered. Eligible for shift differential.
What you will enjoy doing*

  • As Scheduled, coordinates repair, modification and preventive maintenance operations
    Troubleshoots, repairs and maintains manufacturing equipment
  • Further you will support and participate in current and new safety initiatives/policies business needs
  • Oversees and/or performs new equipment installations
  • Utilizes hand and portable power tools and follows safe working practices through all steps of equipment repair and maintenance
  • Ensures operations technicians understand and follow safe working practices through all steps of equipment repair and maintenance
  • May provide advice to management regarding equipment life and usage and in researching new equipment purchases
  • Coordinates and oversees the movement of furniture and/or materials and equipment as required

What makes you great

  • High School education or equivalent. Will consider advanced experience in lieu of educational requirements
  • Further you must have 3-5 years Industrial Maintenance experience or similar mechanical experience
  • You also must have experience reading and understanding electrical schematics, and mechanical blueprints
  • Experience working with manufacturing equipment
  • Basic computer skills in EAM and Microsoft Outlook are necessary for this role
  • Flexible schedule to support manufacturing needs
